Discover I.T. Sponsorship

Competition for employees is at an all-time high. Additionally, employers across the country struggle to find workers with the right skills due to the growing skills gap in the workforce. Help change that by discovering sponsorship today. A sponsorship is a fantastic way to separate yourself from your competitors. Bringing entry level employees on board, while combining MCC training with on-the-job experience, can create a well-rounded, loyal employee.

WHAT IS SPONSORSHIP?

Sponsorship is both a recruiting and a training tool. A company "sponsors" one or more students by covering tuition, books, and/or fees, with the understanding that the student/employee will stay with the company for a specified period after completion of training. Employers get to develop and prepare their future workforce, and sponsored students/employees can obtain paid work experience while receiving hands-on classroom instruction at MCC.

Below are four key components of a sponsorship. These components differentiate sponsorships from other types of workplace training programs in several ways:

PAID JOB

Sponsorships are jobs! Sponsorship students earn a competitive wage from their employers during training.

MCC TRAINING

Sponsored employees are provided hands-on classroom & lab instruction on the critical aspects of their careers.

WORK-BASED LEARNING

Programs provide structured on-the-job learning to prepare for a successful career.

MENTORSHIP

Sponsored employees receive on-the-job learning under the instruction of an experienced mentor.
