INFO 1002 - Introduction to Information Technology - Students are introduced to Information Technology vocabulary and fundamentals related to computer hardware, software, networking, security, and basic Information Technology literacy. This course helps prepare students for the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certification exam.
INFO 1263 - Instructional Technology and Design Topics - Students analyze a variety of current topics focused on instructional technology and design for learning and training. Topics include ethics related to technology usage, Universal Design for Learning, digital game-based learning, scenario-based learning, teaching and learning with mobile devices, using multimedia for learning/ training, and emerging technology tools.
INFO 2100 - Organizations, Applications & Technology - Students are introduced to organizations and the role that information and information systems (IS) play in supporting an organization’s operations, decision-making processes, quality management, and strategic activities. Course topics include management of the IS function, strategic and regulator issues of telecommunications, and ethical and legal issues.
