Textbook Prices and Course Materials: Costs vary by program, course load, and classes selected. You may be able to reduce your costs by buying used books, renting books, or purchasing digital books.

MCC Locations: Classes are offered through a variety of delivery methods and times, and at convenient locations throughout our service area of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, and Washington counties.

Understanding Professional Licensure Requirements

Professional licensure and certification requirements are established by individual states, territories, licensing boards, and regulatory agencies. Ultimately, only the applicable licensing or regulatory authority can determine whether an individual meets the requirements for licensure or certification.

MCC has made reasonable efforts to determine whether its programs meet the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification in each state and territory. However, completion of an MCC program does not guarantee that an individual will qualify for or receive a professional license or certification.

Additional Licensure Requirements

Completing an educational program is typically only one component of professional licensure or certification. Depending on the profession and jurisdiction, additional requirements may include examinations, additional coursework or training, supervised clinical or professional experience, work experience, fees, background checks, fingerprinting, references, minimum-age requirements, citizenship or work-authorization requirements, or certification by another organization.

Changes in Licensure Requirements

MCC reviews its professional licensure information annually; however, state and territorial requirements may change at any time. Students should periodically review the requirements of the applicable licensing board or regulatory agency, particularly if they plan to become licensed in a state or territory other than the one in which they are currently located.

Under the Federal Title IV cash management regulations, institutions are required to publicly disclose any contract that governs a Tier One or Tier Two Arrangement as well as information about the costs incurred by students who elect to use a financial account offered under one of those arrangements.

The Regulations included, among others, provisions related to how disbursement options and financial products can be marketed to students, the delivery of debit cards to students, the sharing of student information under certain arrangements, prohibitions on the incurrence of certain types of account fees to student account-holders and requirements related to ATM access for student account-holders.

Constitution Day and Citizenship Day Disclosures

All institutions receiving federal funding are required to provide educational programming pertaining to the United States Constitution on Sept. 17 of each year. All students are notified of campus activities celebrating Constitution Day.

• DRUG-FREE Schools and Community Act
  • The Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989 requires institutions who participate in federal student aid programs to provide information to its students, faculty and employees to prevent drug and alcohol abuse.
