How to watch the 30th Anniversary Fort Omaha VIRTUAL Intertribal Powwow on 9/25/21, 1-5 p.m. CDT.

This powwow will be presented virtually. In 2021, ther is no live event to attend at the Fort Omaha Campus.

You must have a Facebook account to access this event.
You may send messages to the powwow and other viewers.
You may submit videos of singing, dancing or other. Once approved by powwow officials, these videos will be available to other Facebook users and may be included in the live powwow performance on YouTube.

Celebrating Native American cultures, the powwow honors the traditional dance, music, artistry, oral history and foods of various tribes across Nebraska and the surrounding region including Omaha, Ponca, Santee Sioux and Winnebago.

Powwow Committee:

The Fort Omaha Intertribal Powwow committee is a gathering of MCC students, personnel and community members who work year-round to develop, implement and evaluate the powwow and all related aspects of the celebration. Membership is open throughout the year.
