WHAT IS THE INTEGRATED EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAM?

Metropolitan Community College provides an opportunity for students to go through the Integrated Education and Training Program (IET). This is an adult education and workforce development program model that provides simultaneous instruction in basic skills such as math, reading, or spoken English, workplace readiness activities, as well as occupational or industry-specific training.

The student would participate in career readiness activities and receive certification upon completion:

  • Work Ethics Certificate
  • Customer Service Certificate
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

PROGRAMS OFFERED

The following programs are offered to students ready to gain work knowledge in:

  • Hard Hat in Hands – Construction
  • Facilities Maintenance
  • Sheet Metal Program
  • Fiber Optics Technician
  • Automotive Express Lane Certificate Program
  • CDL A with E Restrictions
  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Medical Services Representative
  • Veterinary Assistant
