MCC Foundation Board of Directors
Marian Holden graduated summa cum laude from the College of Saint Mary with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Management and was also awarded Outstanding Baccalaureate Graduate by the College’s business division. She then received an associate’s degree in Applied Science in Interior Design with honors from MCC and served on the local American Society of Interior Designer’s student chapter.
Holden started her interior design business, ‘’Designer’s Touch”, out of her home while still a student at MCC. She continues to return to MCC as a classroom speaker on a variety of design-related topics.
Holden has been involved with Habitat Restore Designer’s Challenge, Past Rotary Member, Team in Training Fundraising, Past Board Member Metro Omaha Women’s Business Center, MOWBC, Awarded Outstanding Business Woman of the Year 2014, 2016 MCC Foundation Distinguished alumna award, ASID (American Society of Interior Design) President 2012-2013, 2013-2014 President of Omaha Executive Club.
Current volunteer commitments include Leukemia, Lymphoma Society, Team in Training, Habitat Restore, Board Member of NE/KS National Kitchen & Bath Association, Board Member of MCC Interior Design Advisory Committee, and ASID Conference Committee Chair.
Marian is interested in serving on the MCC Foundation board because she is grateful and appreciative of the education she received at MCC. She is a big fan and advocate of MCC and would be happy to show her support by serving on the MCC Foundation Board of Directors. She joined the MCC Foundation to help support the interior design program.
