  • Prototype Design Lab

The Prototype Design Lab is an open-access makerspace focused on developing prototypes from initial conceptualization to final fabrication; or in other words, to just make cool stuff. 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, a plasma cutter, and a vinyl cutter are among the many types of equipment available for use. Whether you’re an artist, an engineer, an inventor, a business owner, or just simply curious, the Prototype Design Lab can make your creative vision a reality . Technicians are available for assistance.

Current MCC credit students have free access to the lab, plus cost of materials. The Lab is open to the public by registering online, or by calling Central Registration at 531-622-2400.

We invite you to check us out in person. Call us at 531-622-2238, or email us at prototypelab@mccneb.edu to schedule a lab tour.
