Faculty interested in incorporating a CBE component into the classroom can complete the Community Based Education Project Development Form. This form is mandatory to obtain support, and it was created as a resource to help faculty understand all of the different levels of support that our office can provide. To obtain a copy of this form, or if you would prefer to talk through a project idea with an individual, please feel free to email Community Engagement Project Specialists at any time.
The CBE Project Application for Outside Organizations is to be used by outside agencies that are looking to partner with Metropolitan Community College. Applications will be judged on alignment with MCC’s mission, student impact, learning outcomes, project scope, organizational commitment and the overall quality of the application. Applications that meet MCC Community Based Education requirements will be forwarded to Academic Deans for review. Implementation is contingent on gaining a faculty champion who is able to incorporate the project into their course curriculum within the project timeline. The Community Engagement staff will notify agencies on their application status and next steps after applications have been reviewed. If you have any questions or potential projects that you would like to discuss with the Community Engagement staff, contact Deborah Metcalf.
