MCC announces move indoors for grand opening tomorrow

OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host tomorrow’s grand opening for the Fort Omaha Campus expansion at 1 p.m. inside Innovation Central at the new Center for Advanced and Emerging Technology, 32nd Street and Sorensen Parkway. The event was previously planned for the outdoor amphitheater but due to high temperatures and wind expected tomorrow afternoon, the College has changed the venue.

MCC still asks that guests park on the south end of campus or on the north end of campus, where shuttles will provide transportation to the event. The grand opening celebration is free and open to the public.

Media are still asked to park in the lot south of Building 26. An updated map is attached for media that displays the new venue.
