MCC receives grant to support this month’s Great Plains Theatre Conference


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College has received a $9,000 grant from Humanities Nebraska to support the Great Plains Theatre Conference, a week-long event scheduled for May 27-June 3 at MCC’s Fort Omaha Campus, 30th and Fort streets.


An annual event, the GPTC welcomes hundreds of local participants while also attracting theatre artists from across the country. During the conference, performers connect with the audience and one another in a supportive environment.
