Gallery of Art and Design to open exhibition Wednesday in Elkhorn

OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College’s Gallery of Art and Design will hold an opening reception for “Trade Talks: The Tokyo-Nebraska Exchange Exhibition” on Wednesday, March 15, 5:30-7 p.m. The exhibition will feature photographs by students and will be open to the public through April 4 at the College’s Elkhorn Valley Campus, 829 N. 204th St.

“Trade Talks: The Tokyo-Nebraska Exchange Exhibition” will display the work of students and faculty from Place M Photography Workshop in Japan, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Metropolitan Community College.  

The Gallery of Art and Design’s hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The mission of the gallery is to provide a create and academic experience for students, faculty, staff and the visiting public in an intimate campus setting, where all exhibits are free and open to the public.
