Media alert: MCC to host grand opening for three new buildings Sept. 22

 

What: Metropolitan Community College will host a grand opening for the $90 million Fort Omaha Campus expansion project. The College will celebrate the opening of three new buildings; the Career and Academic Skills Center, the Center for Advanced and Emerging Technology and the Construction Education Center. There will be a media tour following the ceremony. 

When: Friday, Sept. 22, 1 p.m.

Where: The outdoor amphitheater between the new buildings on the south end of the Fort Omaha Campus, 32ndSt. and Sorensen Parkway.

 

Background: The event is free and open the public. Further details regarding ceremony speakers, parking and buildings will be released in the coming weeks.
