Event to educate parents, students about college enrollment and more 


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host Explore College on Wednesday, July 26, 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the second floor of Do Space, 72nd and Dodge streets. The free event is an informational session and workshop geared toward prospective college students. Attendees will learn about the enrollment process, financial aid, placement testing and other steps to becoming a college student. 


“This is a great opportunity for students, high school staff and faculty, families and the general public to learn about FAFSA, registration, tuition and MCC programs,” said Laela Williams, enrollment services specialist at MCC. 


Those that attend will also have the chance to win a free class (up to 4.5 credit hours). For more information on how to register, call 531-MCC-5231.
