MCC Gallery of Art and Design to host closing reception Aug. 8


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host a closing reception for “Sequential Narratives” on Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 4:30 p.m. in the Gallery of Art and Design at the Elkhorn Valley Campus, 829 N. 204th St. The art exhibition is currently open and features the artwork of Greg Edmondson and Stephen Johnson. The exhibit and reception is free and open to the public. 


Both Edmondson and Johnson were jurors at the 17th annual Student Art Exhibition at MCC. The reception will feature words from Edmondson and Johnson as well as snacks and beverages for the audience. 


The Gallery of Art and Design’s hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The mission of the gallery is to provide a creative and academic experience for students, faculty, staff and the visiting public in an intimate campus setting.
