MCC Business and Contractor Academy courses in Blair this weekend


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will be hosting two educational sessions for businesses and contractors this Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Blair Area Chamber of Commerce, 1646 Washington St. The classes will provide an introduction to general business practices, legal structures, bookkeeping, marketing, insurance coverage and other important information for small-business owners in the construction industry.


The first session on Saturday will cover insurance, marketing and an introduction to business practices. The second session on Sunday will focus on construction contracts, bidding processes and more. Session one cost is $60. Sessions one and two together are $100.
