Media alert: MCC to host Student Leadership Conference Friday


What: Metropolitan Community College will host the 2018 Student Leadership Conference with the theme being “Unleash the leader within you.” The event will feature keynote speaker Dominque Morgan, a local R&B singer and community leader. Attendees, made up of both high school and college students, will have the opportunity to attend a panel and breakout sessions focused on leadership topics, win prizes and network. 

When: Friday, Nov. 2, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Room 120, Industrial Training Center at the College’s South Omaha Campus, 27th and Q streets. 



Metropolitan Community College, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, is a comprehensive, public community college that offers affordable, quality education to all residents of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties. Founded in 1974, MCC has the largest enrollment out of six community colleges in Nebraska and is the second largest postsecondary institution in the state. MCC serves more than 40,000 unique credit and noncredit students.
