Upcoming exhibit, artist appearing at MCC gallery in Elkhorn


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host an opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 5:30 p.m. for “Multiply,” a new art exhibit by Marilee Salvator inside the Gallery of Art and Design at the Elkhorn Valley Campus, 204th Street and West Dodge Road. Immediately following the reception is a presentation by Salvator to discuss her work at 7 p.m. in room 114. The event is free and open to the public. 

The gallery’s hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays. The exhibition will run through Tuesday, Nov. 13.

About the artist 

Marilee Salvator is a printmaker whose work can range from the traditional, two-dimensional prints to large, immersive prints that fill a gallery space.
