MCC to host graduation ceremony at Baxter Arena


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host the annual MCC Commencement ceremony to recognize students who have graduated or will graduate during the current academic year. More than 1,700 students will graduate with associate degrees or certificates of achievement. Commencement will be held on Friday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. inside Baxter Arena, 2425 S. 67th St. 


The current academic year includes 2017 fall quarter, 2017-18 winter quarter, 2018 spring quarter and 2018 summer quarter. 




Metropolitan Community College, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, is a comprehensive, public community college that offers affordable, quality education to all residents of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties. Founded in 1974, MCC has the largest enrollment out of six community colleges in Nebraska and is the second largest postsecondary institution in the state. MCC serves more than 40,000 unique credit and noncredit students.
