MCC to host signing ceremony recognizing Lozier scholarship winners


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host a signing ceremony to formally recognize a partnership with Lozier Corporation, which will award four scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 5:30-6:30 p.m. inside room 120 of the Industrial Training Center at the College’s South Omaha Campus. 


Lozier Corporation will award the students full scholarships, covering the cost of tuition for two years at MCC. Additionally, the company will give the winners part-time jobs and pay for tools required in MCC courses. 


Scholarship winners are Julius Davis Jr., Omaha North High Magnet School; Jeremy Lawson, Central High School; Timothy Shaw, Papillion-La Vista High School; Colin Vickery, Omaha North High Magnet School.
