MCC will host an open house Aug. 4


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host an open house on Saturday, Aug. 4, 10 a.m.-noon, inside the Career and Academic Skills Center on the College’s Fort Omaha Campus, 32nd Street and Sorensen Parkway. 


The open house is free and open to the public and an opportunity for prospective students, whether in high school or nontraditional, to explore MCC in an open setting. Tours will also be available. For more information, call 531-MCC-2400. 




Metropolitan Community College, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, is a comprehensive, public community college that offers affordable, quality education to all residents of Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy and Washington counties. Founded in 1974, MCC has the largest enrollment out of six community colleges in Nebraska and is the second largest postsecondary institution in the state. MCC serves more than 40,000 unique credit and noncredit students.
