24th annual Vietnamese New Year Celebration this Saturday at MCC


OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will host the 24th annual Vietnamese New Year Celebration this Saturday, Feb. 10, 7-10:30 p.m. inside room 120 of the Industrial Training Center at the South Omaha Campus, 27th and Q streets. The celebration is free and open to the public. 


The event is held in collaboration with the Vietnamese Friendship Association of Omaha and will feature traditional and contemporary customs including a Lion Dance, a ceremony to honor ancestors who have passed, stage entertainment and a sharing of Vietnamese bread.
