Robotics camp comes to Do Space Jan. 2-4

 

What: Metropolitan Community College at Do Space will host Camp 1,2,3 … Robots and Me, a camp open to first through third grade students. Participants will create their own robots, learn to drive a STEMBoT and compete in robotic challenges. The camp emphasizes creativity and innovation through teamwork and design processes.  

When: 9:30 a.m.-noon on Wednesday, Jan. 2, Thursday, Jan. 3 and Friday, Jan. 4

Where: Second floor of Do Space, 72nd and Dodge Streets

 

Background: The camp will be led by instructors from Prairie Stem, an Omaha nonprofit. The camp is also part of MCC’s College for Kids Continuing Education programming.
