MCC golf event to raise money for SkillsUSA students

OMAHA, Neb. — Metropolitan Community College will look to raise money for SkillsUSA students traveling to the national competition through the 10th annual MCC Golf Outing on Saturday, June 9, at Tiburon Golf Course, 10302 S. 168th St.

“This is a fun event for MCC industry partners, faculty, staff and friends to take part in. All proceeds of this event will help qualified students travel to the national SkillsUSA competition in Kentucky later this summer,” said Rick Sandvig, development manager with the MCC Foundation. “These students are future industry leaders and they deserve our support.”

Last year, the event raised more than $9,000. There will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start with a four-person scramble format. Cost per person is $90 or $360 per team. Mulligans, raffles and a live auction will be available the day of the event. For more information and to register, visit or contact Rick Sandvig at 531-MCC-2345.
