Media alert: MCC to host International Fair tomorrow 

 

What: Metropolitan Community College’s annual International Fair will bring entertainment from around the globe. The event is free and open to the public and will feature global displays of music and artistry and a USCIS Naturalization ceremony, where new U.S. citizens will be welcomed. 

When: Thursday, April 12, 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.

Where: South Omaha Campus, 27th and Q streets.

 

USCIS Naturalization Ceremony

Room 120 inside the Industrial Training Center at MCC’s South Omaha Campus, 27th and Q streets. 

 

International Fair

Connector Building Commons at MCC’s South Omaha Campus, 27th and Q streets.

 

Background: The event is aimed toward giving attendees of all ages the opportunity to learn about different cultures. Musicians, dancers and performers take center stage throughout the day, blending cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Food will also be available. The event is presented with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
