New online real estate courses designed for working professionals

OMAHA, Neb. — The Applied Finance Institute at Metropolitan Community College is pleased to announce the online availability of the Real Estate Brokers program. Focused on finance and investments, the program provides industry professionals a way to advance their career while earning college credit towards a career certificate or associates degree.

The online version is designed to fulfill the needs of busy real estate sales professionals seeking to satisfy the educational requirements necessary to test for the licensed real estate broker exam.

“This is an exciting opportunity for students and the community we serve,” stated Dr. Lori Lothringer, director of MCC’s Applied Finance Institute. “As a licensed broker, these real estate professionals will have an opportunity to engage in all aspects of this dynamic industry, including working with other brokers or forging their careers as independent entrepreneurs.”

With classes taught by industry professionals, students have an opportunity to learn practical tools and time-tested techniques. MCC has been a leader in real estate online education for the past several years, providing pre-licensing courses for those interested in becoming real estate sales professionals. All MCC online Real Estate courses are approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission and certified by the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials.
