MCC Smoke and Tobacco Free

Smoke and Tobacco Free

In September 2017, Metropolitan Community College expects to join hundreds of other public community colleges across the country in becoming smoke and tobacco free.

The initiative promotes the well-being of all MCC community members and the maintenance of a sustainable and healthy campus environment.

Smoke & Tobacco free at mcc open forums

You are invited to attend open forums to learn about MCC's proposed Smoke & Tobacco Free policy. The forums will offer a casual environment for students and employees to learn about the proposed Tobacco Free policy and to share their thoughts and ask questions. The feedback gathered from these open forums will be provided to the taskforce working on the details of the proposed policy and will be used to inform the Board of Governors' final policy draft. The forums are scheduled for the times and locations listed below. For more information, contact the MCC Smoke & Tobacco Free Taskforce at

Please note: Attending an activity during your scheduled work hours requires supervisor approval. It is your responsibility to obtain approval to attend a Training & Development event.
