MCC's Weekend College isn’t like the accelerated programs offered elsewhere.
For one thing, we don't require you to attend school for the entire weekend. You may take a few classes per quarter, a few hours at a time. Classes are offered Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, or Sunday afternoon.
Some courses are conveniently offered online. It's much easier to fit into your busy schedule.
Weekend College is flexible.
You can finish your associate degree in 2 or 3 years, depending on the number of courses you'd like to take at a time. Take the courses you need to upgrade your skills in business and computers to enter or re-enter the workforce, or transfer your credits to a 4-year school.
Weekend College is less expensive!
MCC's cost per credit hour is roughly 1/3 that of other local state supported colleges and universities. Please see our tuition web page for the latest tuition information. Financial aid is available.
We'll help you be successful.
Tami Schutt, Weekend College's Academic Advisor, is available to answer your registration and placement questions. She can also assist you in getting information about transferring credits to four-year institutions. Statistics continue to show that MCC transfer students are just as successful at the university as the native university student.
