Jeff Gossin Memorial Scholarship
Jeffrey John Gossin, 53, Lincoln, retired property and casualty insurance agent, died June 10, 2011. Jeff was born in Lincoln on April 15, 1958 to John R. and Janice L. (Steinke) Gossin. He worked at Lincoln Liberty Life, Allied Insurance, Forsyth Insurance, and in his own insurance agency. He loved his family and having fun. He was an avid Beatles and Husker football fan.
Jeff Gossin was a talented athlete, writer, and musician; a much-loved spouse, father, brother, and son, whose life was cut short by alcohol addiction. This scholarship is intended to honor his memory, while investing in the recovery of others. Scholarship may be used for tuition, fees and books.
- Financial need may be considered but not required
- Pursuing an associate, certificate or specialist diploma in the Chemical Dependency program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Completed at least 9 credit hours at MCC
Scholarships are usually offered during the spring and fall quarters. Scholarship availability varies depending on donor giving.
