Ellie Archer - MCC Foundation Board of Directors
Ellie Archer is a community volunteer. She retired as Executive Director of the Women’s Fund of Omaha in 2012. A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Journalism, Ellie’s career experience included advertising copywriter, retail buyer, political campaign manager, management consultant and business owner. Ellie served as administrative aide to the Douglas County Board of Commissioners and was the founding director of the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Her community involvement has included service on boards and advisory committees for the Non-Profit Association of the Midlands,GIRL Summit, Omaha by Design, the University of Nebraska Omaha, the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, and Grameen America. She is a WCA Tribute to Women honoree, the inaugural winner of the "Making Democracy Work" award from the League of Women Voters, and was named one of the Midwest's most influential women by Midwest CEO magazine.
