ART

What is 'ART? (ARTS)'

Art is a visual arts discipline in which traditional media is used in the creation of two and three dimensional artwork such as Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Ceramics and Jewelry.

Is it for you?

Do you have a passion for the arts? Do you love to draw, paint? Do you enjoy making things with your hands as well as the computer? Do you have self-discipline, motivation and a desire to be a working artist? Wanting to explore a variety of media and art skills, in order to achieve personal creative vision is definitely an important aspect of learning about art. Once an Art student completes the basic curriculum requirements, he or she may choose courses to suit their own particular interests and abilities. Students are expected to develop high-level art skills and a body of creative work based on conceptual understanding of design and effective visual communication. Art programs involve unusual dedication and an ability to set personal goals and keep to a demanding schedule. Exceptional results require time and effort beyond the scheduled class hours.
