MCC students take home medals from state SkillsUSA competition

OMAHA, Neb. — Students from Metropolitan Community College took home medals in a variety of categories at the annual Nebraska SkillsUSA State Leadership Conference in Grand Island, Nebraska, April 11-13. Winners advance to the national championships this summer at the annual National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, a showcase of career and technical education students.

The competition featured high school and college students from across Nebraska. Participants worked against the clock and each other, attempting to prove their expertise in various fields. This year’s state winners from MCC are below, including high school dual enrollment students. Student hometowns are listed for those available.
